The 7th edition of our London Music Festival
The preparations started the 28th of April with our Children Prep Masterclass.
Our children played solidly and consistently. We expect the general advice provided by Cristina will translate into more secure and settled performances.
Why did we organise a “Prep Festival Masterclass”?
In fact, this was the very first time we put up a preparation masterclass. The reason: We wanted our younger students to get the most out of their recorded performances at the festival.
Young children get easily distracted with all that proves to be new for them. Pushkin House is a magnificent building full of appealing objects and interesting architectural artefacts. Also, the fact that the festival is the only instance when our children share a lot of time together can prove to be highly distracting for our little ones. This previous instance in which they can socialise is the perfect chance to get them accustomed to the concert situation.
The schedule
We carefully thought How to organise the schedule of our festival. Each concert block needs to run smoothly. Receptions and concerts are wisely timed taking advantage of the three magnificent rooms at Pushkin House.

The recording
As per our tradition, our movie director Keith Huckfield is in charge of producing the most enticing videos of our performers.
We believe in self-criticism. By providing our students with professionally recorded videos of their performances, we help them analysing their weak points and working towards strengthening them.
The perfect time to gather and celebrate
Music is a social art. Our bi-annual music festivals complete our complete music teaching approach.
Our students learn the most effective piano technique during their one-to-one piano lessons. Then they see the skill applied by professionals during our monthly concerts. Finally, they make their first steps into the art of performing during our bi-annual piano festivals.
